This is a song that was literally written while on my knees. I just needed to spend time with Jesus but I felt like I had nothing to bring. I didn’t have good words for a prayer, or some lofty language to show my love for Him - I just brought myself. As I was. Seeking. Waiting. Trying my best to trust that He was with me.

In that place, I realized that when it comes to Jesus, it doesn't matter what I bring Him. It’s not a transaction. He just wants time with me. So this song just describes where I was in that moment when I felt the pressure lift off - realizing that the only thing I really need to bring when I come to Him is myself, just as I am.
